Layered scallop skirt, complete with the cutest ribbon ever. Looks somewhat like an upside-down tulip to me hehe. Definitely has the sweet factor.

Am I being really hardworking all of the sudden? I wonder... it could be the guilt for not updating as much =P
Anyways, hope these updates would make it up!

The long anticipated malibu barbie update from peep is here!~

I really like the blue pattern on this tiered summer dress! Not forgetting to mention a bit of lace & crochet in it.

Hehehe... I think it'll only be a dress for the vertically-challenged people like v. *runs really fast* But this skirt/dress with many colors to choose from and versatility, it's definitely a steal! I'd be happy wearing this as a skirt only =P

Florals = love & visible gold zip= vintage-y! And this is me thinking the lazy way... gosh it's easier to take 'em off... just unzip! Not unbutton... and I'm not encouraging laziness okay people!! =P

Taking our eyes away from the bright, blazing colors of Malibu, will be emcee couture with a purely white update.

Okay, I lied. It ain't purely white. There's hints of black and off-whites. More importantly to the point, these are two beautifully tailored dresses. I especially like the one on the right. Princess cut and lace? How can I not like this!

This blouse is really classy and also a bit of chic in the other picture. Depending on how you wear it, it's as if you can pull of just any look you're aiming for. Pressing the 'like' button for this blouse.

I also checked out Diva's Divine updates from "Milan" and my eyes are glued to just one piece. I really love it! But the others are really nice too. But I'll just show you just this one because less than a month...*hint* *ahem* *hint*

Guns & Pistols as there's a picture of guns on the top. Can be worn in two ways, but I like it when its worn with that loose top.. it gives off a very nice vibe. And the words of wisdom on this printed tee is " Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new!"

Sugar is sweet

I ought to be doing my work but I simply cannot resist to share these from La Dolce.

Love the combination of "different" things, ie. pearls and metallic chain, distorted clock (love it), the vintage charm that looks like a coin (?) and most of all, the pink ribbon. All these make one sweet lil bracelet. I heart!

Sorry for my obsession with pink and ribbons. But I know they're a lot out there who love them as well, right? This simple hair tie can transform a boring pony tail into something much sweeter. Available in red and grey as well.

Head over now for ribboned hairbands, necklaces and etc. :)

Eat, Gossip, Shop: One woman's search for everything across the world via the net

Hahahahaha

Slow as  I am  in the fashion world. Slower I am in media terms too. Just found out about Eat, Pray, Love movie acted by Julia Roberts which is due to be coming out in August! It's based on the bestseller novel Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia. Honestly, I was just bored and just surfing the net in the library and randomly typed "eat" at the google search bar which google's next suggestion was "eat pray love" which leads me to... where I am right now. This name of ours doesn't come from this novel but it probably comes from the same way of thinking. By combining what we wanted to blog about our love for food (eat) [on a side note, really really sorry for REALLY lacking in the eat department! We'll do our best to put up recipes or just food pics! Just stay tuned, pls] , our love for just talking nonsensical gibberish or even idols in the entertainment industry (gossip), and of course our "newfound" love for online shopping (shop). I typed 'newfound' meaning its sort of the newest pastimes of ours compared to the other two. Not just online shopping either, we also do like offline shopping! Hahaha it's somehow very convenient to do online shopping... Anyways, I feel compelled to watch this movie or even read the book first! How she eats at Italy, finds spiritual peace (pray) in India, and falls in love in Indonesia? Anyone interested too?

Dress2Dazzle

I had my first class of the semester today...I was certainly physically there but my mind wandered to some faraway lane within minutes. I'm such a bad student. Alright enough ranting. Let's get on with the good stuff :)

Are these cute or what?? I'm a big fan of jeggings because the rubber waist(s) are soo comfy. Ever since my first experience with jeggings, my jeans are left abandoned. And lookie, we can have miniature jeggings too! These are perfect for hot days and boy do they look comfy!

I love this shade of blue. Makes the dress sweeter than it already is. Available in grey and dark blue too. Someone.get.me.this.please

Seen this bodycon around but am still loving it all the same. I reckon this light blue is more of an attention seeker whilst the black one is more formal; for work perhaps?

This jumpsuit is love! Great alternative to those who simply do not dare to wear floral jumpsuits a.k.a me. I'm just not brave enough. But this, I <3. Available in olive green and turquoise too.

Ruched sleeves! I really like the combination on the left. White and pink ftw! Turquoise top is really nice too.

CHIFFON: Light & Fluffy

Chiffon used to be incorporated only for formal wears or bridal gowns and such. These days, it's mostly seen as casual wear from tops to dresses. Lately, since spring is coming and shops are beginning to sell latest spring fashions, I became infatuated with chiffon! Not just chiffon cakes, but also floral-printed or pastel-colored chiffon attires! I'm pretty sure you've seen a lot by now since everyday in M'sia is spring/summer! Hahahaha. The only downside of chiffon is the care, but since I'm poor. I think I'll only get poly-chiffons which is much easier to care for compared to silk chiffon =P still needs to be hand-washed rather than dry-cleaning or whatnot. However, I bet chiffons are easy to hand-wash too! It's so light and fluffy~

PhatCulture has two chiffon dresses which are just lovely!

This one piece dress compromises of a chiffon top plus a black bandage skirt which is pretty hot.

This chiffon dress is suitable for a casual look. Great for outings with family & friends. Or if feeling "beachy" add large straw hat and a pair of flip-flops!

Tea Garden Boutique has a similar patterned floral dress but with a different flair. And yesh, orange is the new black people =P

Anyways, the bottom-line is that I just bought myself one chiffon top and one chiffon dress which I can't wait to wear in spring~ I absolutely love them! I think chiffon were really in for summer '08. And here I am two years behind! =P If you haven't gotten yourself something chiffon, I highly suggest you do now. Muahaha

More pictures to show that floral patterns and odd-looking patterns now look desirable to me now. I used to think those 'old' patterns printed on chiffon tops were only for the older generation like my mum  and I just couldn't understand why all the younger Japanese women sport this look! Hahaha.. now I do~




However, there's one thing about me that hasn't changed for chiffon! I L-O-V-E chiffon/angel cakes! Remember pandan chiffon cakes people? It should be part of your childhood fav. foods. If not, I feel for you. =P

I could eat a lot of this, it's so light and fluffy hohohoho~

This is the last weekend for me (and the rest of the egs girls except one who has already started uni 3 weeks ago) to laze about because sadly, holidays officially end tomorrow. I reckon the stress this semester will be so much more emphasized that we'll be doing online shopping more than ever. Stress-relieving through shopping really makes my wallet cry :( But the feeling of getting a call from the uni receptionist (poor thing) is really one of the best feelings in the world. haha. We think that they secretly label us as the 'package girls', but who knows if they've given us more drastic names such as 'crazybunchofshopaholics'. meh :P

I was looking through our blogroll to see if any of our favourite online destinations updated and lucky me, doublewoot just updated today :D

This angel white eyelet dress spells S-W-E-E-T all the way. Again, my empire line fever has taken over. The pretty tie-back ribbon really accentuates the sweet appeal. I-need-this-dress.

Simply love this bodycon dress; Asos-inspired. Recently I'm always looking out for stylish clothes for the office..probably because I'd be working soon (if all goes well), and this falls into the category.

I'm drooling over these pants. It's probably due to my korean drama-obsession which has changed my opinions on what I used to subconsciously  label as "ugly-pants-above-ankle". I love them. But we used to tease our guy friend about his pants (even though he didn't give a damn) so what would he say if I sport them? (sshhh u guys! lol)
