Are we shopaholics?

I'm sure most of you reading our blog, shop online. We obviously do. Lately though, we can't help but think that we are spending too much and might be slightly addicted to shopping (both online and offline). So, here's the thing, all us egs girls are students and we all don't work part time and rely solely on allowances from our parents.

We were studying together again and this was when we started this conversation (sometimes i can't help but wonder how we get any studying done when we seem to have all sorts of discussions). And since we had our calculators ready in hand (we nerdy types always have our calculators near us. hehe) we started calculating how much each of us spend on shopping a month. And we sort of reached the conclusion that our shopping at times can amount to around rm 300 a month. And we just feel that for students, that is a bit excessive. But what exactly is too much?

So we decided to rely on you guys, our readers for a little feedback. All you students out there, how much do you spend on average a month just on clothes?

Clothes on a budget!

Ladiesfash has had a massive update recently and some with designer inspired pieces. Once again their prices are the most competitive ones in the blogosphere. Here are a few of their updates and because there are so many nice ones, I can barely decide which to feature!

Simple baby-doll piece which is a must have in every girl's closet! The affordable price tag RM16 makes it even more tempting. Hurry up as most colors are no longer available!

A gorgeous body hugging piece which can be worn in two ways; halter or tube, according to your own preference. In striking colours of red, black and grey and only RM36! For this price it is definitely a steal.

Another one of their famous Victoria Secret inspired dresses and this time in the famous O-ring design. RM36 as well. Suitable for a day out shopping in the sweltering heat of M'sia.

This bohemian style dress is one of my favorites! Scattering of florals with crocheted detailing is just gorgeous and at a affordable price of RM32!

Lovely toga dress with silver beads at the collar. Body hugging at the top part and flattering flare at the skirt. Great piece for a dinner date!

Sugar Dressing has updated with some fab bags, and the one that stands out to me with it simplicity and versatility is,

Over here has also updated with some designer inspired bags specifically the Balenciaga inspired biker style bag which is all the rage these days!

This bag is also available in light brown and going for RM60. I think its the standard price around blogshops.

I think this bag is so sophisticated, hence the name sophisticated beauty. Lovin the long additional strap which gives you 2 carrying options.

FAB Finds!

I'm seeing floral bodycon dresses with cutout back very hyped in the blogosphere recently. And its really starting to grow on me. Personally, I would prefer it without cutouts at the back, but hey, everyone has different taste right. That's why, Le Mode Maison has launched their new collection, which can cater to many different preference.

This floral appeals to me the most as it has the plain back!! And how gorgeous is the colour right. They have a range of 3 colours for you to choose from. Why is it that the one I like most is going for only RM39??! Its like increasing the temptation :P

And this!! How I love the florals. So fresh and pretty. Comes in 2 different colours and has criss-crossed back design. Going for RM 45.

For those who are not a fan of florals, here's something for you in acid wash. I think they're gorgeous too and the simple striped back is definitely a plus. Also RM 45.

Was bloghopping to Lush Serendipity and found some wardrobe basics and also some funky jackets.

Both these dresses are soooo simple but yet so appealing at the same time. The first dress has intricate pleating details which the picture cannot do justice. The kimono however has knitted detailing at the top, just adorable! RM39 and RM45 respectively.

This cropped jacket is also real chic! Comes in red, blue and white. Unfortunately all reserved or sold out. But no harm inquiring for a restock :P

Dress2Dazzle also recently updated with a few items and these two really caught my eye.

Pretty denim like material high waist skirt, with paper bag detailing at the waist!!! *Lovesssssss*

Pink ruffled collar dress! Tie back for optimum fit! Also adoring it to the max. Prices are reasonable, RM39 for the skirt. However, I can't seem to find the price for the dress.

A new blogshop to this review blog, Dude n Duchess . They have updated with some really lovely items, suitable for work. Very classy and elegant in my opinion.

This piece is title work glam, and I think if you show up at work with this, guaranteed will glam up your work place! RM55 in brown and grey and selling like hot cakes!

I am so in love with this polka dotted piece. Chiffon material and stretchable at the waist to enhance your figure. RM55 as well and still available at time of posting.

This ruffled piece is a must-have in any closet! Comes is so many designs but unfortunately sold out already!! RM40 and as I always say, no harm inquiring for restock.

It's friday babeh

Woohoo TGIF. I'm a happy girl. Today I have received not only one parcel, but two! *drools* And I got another one yesterday too =/ I'm really burning a hole in my pocket, or more like my bank account. The curses of online banking. It's so efficient because all I have to do is click click click and my purchase is done. At this rate I'm gona need to join a shopaholics circle and confess my recent buys. And it will go like this:

Me: Hello I'm v.
Everybody: Hi v.
Me: I just bought *insert random buys*

...... (Some lame joke we made about our addiction).

Ok sorry shall we move on....

I love love love these bubble dresses from do not bleach! I like how the dress looks so 'bouncy' and the ribbon just makes me love it so much more. Sigh. I wish I had a money tree. Can someone tell me how I can plant one? I promise I'll share. *cough* Oh and btw it's only RM39 which I think is a pretty good price for this lovely dress. *stares admiringly*

And here's another dress that I really really like, from dainty little blog shop. I love the blue and white combination, and the ruched bust part! The bottom part has a nice flair to it :) This dress spells out L-O-V-E to me.

A short shopping break from assignmenting

Hi all, it's thursday and this means that the weekend is near! Was browsing around some blogshops and came across some pretty cute items.

First up, cookies and creams boutique

With it being spring in the northern hemisphere, florals are pretty popular nowadays and i think the dress cnc00456 completely screams SPRING. Same goes for the shirt dress cbc00455. A popular trend that i've spotted is the pairing of florals and denim and the shirt dress would look perfect paired with a pair of denim shorts.

And hey, for those April babies out there you can even get RM 10 off. is that i a great deal or what? why oh why am i a december baby?

Another blogshop that caught my interest is Moca Boutique

One great thing about Moca is that they actually pair up their clothes so i think that's really great as it gives the buyer an idea of how they can wear the items as an ensemble or as separate pieces. i really love the blazer shown in the pic above. For me it completely gives off an audrey hepburn vibe. Very classy!

Quick update

Was over at Clothes Bucket and found a drool worthy skirt. Reminiscent to the ones selling at Cotton On with its unique flouncyness and floral prints.

Both these designs are sold at RM40 only! I think the pictures I posted don't do justice to how colourful, bright and happy those floral prints are. Head on over there to have a closer look!

ThePopLook also never disappoints with their array of new clothings this time round. Love how their designs are always so unique and trendy. Something that caught my eye was this adorable skirt! I dun think this is from their new collection but even then, its darling!

Perfectly ruched with petal details at the waist line with the endearing slightly bubble silhouette. Going for RM62. Slightly pricey for me :(

This pleated shift dress is has the vintage feel and pairing it with the weaved belt gives it even more appeal. RM66!

Polka dots!! This time a subtle one. The design at the collar really stands out within the simple cutting of the dress. Also RM59 :)
